Edgecombe County Tourism Authority Board

The county’s predominant assets are its rich cultural heritage and innate inclination for historic preservation. Existing elements of this preservation include architecture, historic archives, folk-life, industry, and oral traditions. Edgecombe county's dedication to preserve and embrace the assets that make it unique is shared by multi-generational residents as well as newcomers.

Mission Statement:
The Edgecombe County Tourism Development Authority was established to enhance the economic impact of tourism in our community. As a public authority, the ECTDA manages the marketing of countywide tourism, in a manner that strengthens the local economy, enriches the quality of life, and preserves Edgecombe County’s history and agricultural heritage.
